The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Task (PASAT): normative data for the Italian population

The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Task (PASAT) is a neuropsychological instrument designed to measure attention, working memory and speed of information processing in complex manner. It currently used evaluate different neurological diseases. the purpose this study was establish PASAT normative data for healthy Italian population using standardized methodology Equivalents Scores. brief auditory version included Multiple Sclerosis Functional Composite administered 146 participants, distributed gender (70 men; 76 women), age (range 18-83) education (8-19). We found that education, but not gender, were significant score predictors. may represent useful application clinicians researchers document mild executive deficits populations.
